This lamp is cool quirky and a wonderful decor piece for bird lovers and origami enthusiasts. I purchased this lamp because I thought it was absolutely gorgeous. I needed something unique for my living room. There are a lot of plants in my living room and I thought that this lamp would look great next to my Fiddle Leaf.

The reason why I decided on the seller Rencontre Uriel even though there were only 5 reviews on this item, was because each review had 5 stars and the buyers’ pics were really awesome.
Sometimes you just have to go with your gut, so I did. I placed my order without worry but expected my lamp not to arrive until June 6th but surprisingly I received my order Friday May 28th and I was very excited.
First Impression of the Paper Crane Bird Lamp
I unbox my pretty crane bird lamp and was ready to assemble and bang I ran into an issue. I didn’t understand the directions, there was some wiring that needed to be assembled and the directions completely did not explain how to do it, so now I’m totally bummed.
I did remember as I read the reviews that a buyer said they contacted the seller, so that’s what I did. I emailed the seller about the wiring and received a quick response. The seller was very nice in explaining the process which was actually very easy. Now I’m feeling very confident and really ready to assemble this pretty crane bird lamp.
There are only 4 major parts to the lamp: 1 base/wiring, 1 pole/wiring, 1 top pole, 1 pvc crane bird.
Let’s go: Unbox all your parts, lay them out on the floor to make sure you’re not missing anything.
Crane Lamp Installation Tutorial (In 4 Easy Steps)
Step 1: You’re going to take the wiring from the base and the wiring from the pole match to black with the black and the red with the red connect the male and female adapter(wear protective white glove) and refrain from plugging the lamp in until it’s fully assembled.
Step 2: You’re going to push remaining wire into pole and begin to assemble it to base by screwing it on clockwise(use hands no tools required)
Step 3: You’re going to assemble top pole into base pole by screwing it on clockwise(use hands no tools required)
Step 4: Place your pretty crane bird (be sure the both feet are inside of the circle conductors) plug in light, turn light on and enjoy.

Crane Lamp Review and Analysis
I give this 62 inch Modern Floor Lamp Paper Crane Bird / PVC Lamp Shade Metal Base (Brand: Rencontre Uriel) 5 stars, I love the look, I love the ambience that gives the light is just enough and it’s definitely a conversation piece in any space.
Pros- the quality is very good, received early, easy to assemble
Cons- The directions were not very specific. A lot of clean up is required because of excessive styrofoam.
Final thoughts- Reviews are definitely for a purpose but sometimes you just have to be the judge and go with what you think is best and this time I was not disappointed, I was truly amazed.
Conclusion
Overall, I am really excited about this lamp. I am in love with how it looks in my living room. As for the set up, I did run into some issues, but got through them quickly. I highly recommend this product and would love to answer any questions you may have about it.
